| Corinth Church listens for the
leading of the Holy Spirit and moves in response, even in unfamiliar
directions. We recognize that everyone needs both spiritual growth in
Jesus Christ and an intimate fellowship with other believers. We
therefore seek to address the “whole person.” Enabled by the Holy
Spirit, we minister within our congregation, to the community beyond
our doors, and to a world with deep spiritual and physical needs. Drawing on a rich heritage of loving concern and support for one
another, we seek to transmit this heritage—by example—to the next
generation of our church family. Through public and private worship;
Bible Study; corporate, small-group and private prayer; and fellowship,
we strengthen our bonds of friendship while focusing on our common
friend, Jesus Christ. Empowered by nurture within the congregation, we take to a hurting
world the love Jesus Christ has offered to us. Our activity is
intentionally “missional.” This outreach has varied forms—direct aid to
local needs, financial support to the mission of Presbytery and the
denomination, volunteering of time and talents—but they share a common
root: the name of Jesus Christ who promised that caring for “the least”
is an offering to Him. BACK
