And now the time has come to bid goodbye. I came here after putting in several years of service with Steel Authority of India and NALCO. As I reflect back the time spending in Hindustan copper limited has been most challenging and most satisfying in my carrier.I had ample opportunities to share my thoughts and ideas on various strategic issues of the organization and get many of them accepted by CMD, other Directors and senior executives. I also got cooperation and support from all quarters and enriched myself with comradeship of the Hindustan Copper Community at large. I must note that for the first time in my professional career, I witnessed here how the loss making mindset of an organization was transformed into a profit making mindset. This transition in mindset or attitude of the employees will be the biggest asset to take the company forward in coming years notwithstanding some setbacks over last few months. I wish success to the Company and good luck to all of you and your Family members. In Remembrance D, Satapathy Director (Personnel) Hindustan Copper Limited |
