The State Government wants to push the Dingley Arterial through Coomoora Woodland Flora and Fauna Reserve - a National Trust listed native landscape and sanctuary for rare indigenous plant and animal species in metropolitan Melbourne. Despite its rich biodiversity, the State Government remains intent on bulldozing Coomoora, without an environmental impact study and despite the availability of a viable alternative route. We explain why the nature reserve should be preserved and present a new vision for sustainable development of the area.To see what's at stake, visit our Photo Gallery An overview of the Save Coomoora campaign can be downloaded from Our Campaign |
