 Welcome to the 33rd Annual Coombs Bluegrass Festival!Welcome to the oldest bluegrass festival in B. C. and possibly the oldest in Canada,
located in sunny Coombs. Thanks everyone for years of help and hard work keeping this amazing festival happening. We, our bluegrass festival committee, and proud members of the Coombs Community Organization would like to welcome our old friends, talented musicians, willing volunteers, and generous sponsors, as well as the wonderful people who come to this event each year and truly make it what it is. Hope to see you there!
Music, Stories, Friendships, Good Times... Bluegrass music is steeped in tradition & it is mostly many simple stories of things that happened long ago or just yesterday. Real bluegrass comes from the heart & soul, our lives, happenings, & feelings, acoustically. Please join us for a weekend of fun filled bluegrass & old timey music again this year in 2011. Share... Share the B. C. Heritage Day long weekend together with us in Coombs. Listen to top
notch ENTERTAINMENT, try a tasty snack or meal at one of the CONCESSIONS, or shop for a new
shirt or jacket, Coombs style! Bring along that ol' guitar and partake in one of the many exciting
acoustical jams that happen in our parking lots and camping areas. Renew old friendships from past
festivals and make new friends. Sing that song you just learned or yodel us a tune... Teach your kids
the songs...it's all here for you at the 33nd Coombs Bluegrass Festival.
And...to all those who wonderful people who came last year for the first time and discovered a new love for bluegrass music..we'd like to say thanks...this is truly indeed what bluegrass is all about..tell your friends, better yet bring them along and we hope to see you soon.
