Reposting - tagged Since there is a round of "tagged" going on I thought I'd repost and undate my tags. The photo is the same old from last year though. 1. I?m a dollaholic. 2. I have recently fallen in love with cooking, but I only like making food that's more craftwork than cooking like sushi and cakes. 3. I have three cats whom I love like my own children. (Neru in the pic) 4. I?m in a 9,5-year relationship with the love of my life. 5. Don't know if we'll ever get married. 6. I use to practice martial arts, but a knee injury ended the hobby. 7. I?m a bi-sexual, but haven?t been emotionally involved with a girl. 8. I just graduated this summer! Hurray! (master's in Chinese language and culture) 9. My dream would be to get my own doll and clothing line. The dream is more closer than ever as my friend and business partner is comparing factories in China right now. 10. I like staying at home 11. I like to spoil my friends with gifts. 12. I get addicted very easily - to dolls, shoes, bags, chocolate, sex, people, computer games, interior design, you name it. 13. I haven?t tried cigarettes or any drugs (mainly because of point 12). 14. I do not drink alcohol - accept over 10-year-old Scottish single malt Isley whiskeys. 15. I think I?m too fat. 16. My boyfriend was inprisoned because he refused to go thru with Finnish system of mandatory military service due to ethical reasons. He has been out for a year now but I think the injustice scarred him for life. 17. I teach Chinese and manga drawing on local schools. 18. I don't want to get a "real job" as my dad calls it - I want my own tiny company and to make doll clothes. 19. I was bullied thru elementary, middle and high school - so badly I had to be at ICU several times. 20. I became an aunt last year and it's weird. You sort of need to be more of an adult. 21. I've found that I really like teaching even if it's the one job I swore never ever to do. 22. I want to move abroad but it's really hard with three cats (2 of which are poor traumatised creatures from a homeless animal shelter). 23. I wanted so bad to live in China, but the polution really ripped my lungs when studying there. 24. I love long bubblebaths with my hubby! 25. I love dressing up, but nowadays I tend to go for comfort instead of painful high heels and corsetry I use to love. My dolls can suffer them instead! ;D There it is fair and square. Totally honest to the point of embarrassment! Lol! 48/52: thankful.
I am thankful for a lot of things. My life, my family, my health, my job, my comforts - and of course, so, so thankful that I have Dave and his kids in my life. Life would surely not be the same, nor as sweet. I don't know what I would do without them - let's hope I never have to find out... Thanksgiving was great! I cooked for the first time for a group - 7 of us. Everyone has something that screws up - for me, it was the candied yams. They were not screwed up, they just took, oh about 2 HOURS longer than planned - so I sent everyone home with fresh "leftovers". I was dressed up (moreso than I have even been for work lately) and totally forgot to take a pic - I was in the kitchen about 7 hours straight cooking - so I snapped this as a "just in case". I then had an idea for our tree but last night I couldn't muster up the energy so sometime this month I will :-) This 4 day weekend has been fun but BUSY - no laying around for us! Thursday of course was Thanksgiving, and Dave's sister Kath came in to town (and it was her, their mom, and uncle over with us & the kiddos), then Friday me, Dave & the kiddos put up our Christmas tree - a tradition I have had for years which Dave now seems to enjoy) and at night Dave & Kath got drunk & the 3 of us played poker...Saturday was Thanksgiving #2 at Dave's sister's house who lives here, plus bdays for 2 of her 4 daughters and Kath, then today Dave and I dropped the kids off at his moms while we did some Christmas shopping and now Dave, the kids, and Kath are up watching the end of the game while I clean and edit photos and stuff. I may wrap up some gifts - everything for the SF people is purchased and can be wrapped and sent anytime...I am waiting for one thing for my bro but everything else going to FL can be wrapped, and I have a FEW gifts here for D & the kids but my Black Friday shopping was all done online so I have so wait for it to arrive ;-) See also: roaster cooking cooking fresh vegetables meaner than mama cooking game cooking with kurma recipes canola cooking oil cooking whole chicken vegalene cooking spray cooking whiting family restaurant cooking games |
