Enclosed are documents that resulted from my initial research in the field.

 

"Ninja proposal" is a concept paper for an online community around prep arts. The paper was delivered on June 11. On June 12, the flood came, and the world changed. Although a prep arts community will be pursued, it is not a top priority.

 

Because my focus originally was an entertainment community, Rob Posekany and I conducted in April some home-grown focus groups around that topic. We asked 22 Eastern Iowans what they consider entertainment, how they want to get that information and what features they generally like best about their favorite Web sites. What we found was that people are really looking for experiences, not just events. The three focus group documents are the results of the research.
