TO BUY CHEAP CONTACT LENSES : CUSTOMIZED CONTACT LENSES To Buy Cheap Contact Lenses
Day 60 of 365 (3-1-11) "eBay" I've had some hastle, over the past few weeks, trying to buy an inexpensive yet functional camera lens. I first bought a used "Nikon 28mm f/2.8D" from a local camera shop. After purchasing this lens, I found an identical lens on eBay for $100 cheaper, so I purchased it with plans to return the original one. After receiving this eBay lens, I realized they sent me the wrong model lens, but was able to return it for a full refund. I then won another eBay action for the same model lens (again $100 cheaper than the first). After receiving this lens, which appeared to be in perfect condition, I returned the first lens to the local camera shop. After several unintentionally overexposed images, I realized that the 2nd eBay lens (shown in this picture) has oil on the aperture blades (see note on picture). This oil causes the blades to get stuck and/or move very slowly. I immediately contacted the seller (who's profile states they don't accept returns), notifying them of my problem. They were very helpful and offered me a full refund. Also, because the lens has oil on the blades, the seller says they don't want it back. Conclusion: After purchasing 3 of these lenses, I now have one repairable lens and have paid zero dollars.
