I bought this slab today (11.11.11) at the Sacramento Mineral Society's 75th Annual Gem Faire. It seems to be a seam of tiger eye embedded in some plume agate (somewhat Graveyard Point-like, but with tubes). I've never seen anything quite like it. Even the dealer (Gems of an Idea/Garth Duncan) isn't quite sure where it came from. Garth is a great guy, and very active with our club. I dropped a bit of cash with him today. Since there was only the one slab, I will not be cabbing it. It will save it for when I have a flat lap.

3 of 9 photos Continued from last photo: ....and I went to craft shops looking at strands in a panic....I had already agreed to the bracelet order, and knew my client would be very unhappy with these selections of stones. I read about tiger eye online, and found that gemstone chips are usually of a poorer quality and thus, the reason why I was having difficulty finding what I needed. See next photo:
