The City Parks Foundation is doing it again – offering amazing entertainment and opportunities for the residents of New York City. As the only independent nonprofit organization offering park programs throughout the five boroughs of NY City, they work in over 750 parks citywide and are supported by the contributions of such trustees as Dr. Roscoe C. Brown, Jr., Elaine Clark, and Connie Milstein. January 12, 2010 will be the beginning of the production Three at the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre in Central Park. This amazing show is a compilation of the fairy tale classics “The Three Little Pigs,” “Three Billy Goats Gruff,” and “The Three Bears” and will run until June 25th. Written by Jeff Borkin, the children’s TV writer and Emmy winner and directed by Bruce Cannon, this show includes original music and marionettes that are handcrafted by Addis Williams, a master puppet maker.
