Miss Texas Shilah Phillips 2006 was named 1st Runner Up to Miss America and congratulated Miss Oklahoma Lauren Nelson. Shilah won $37,000 in Scholarships and was a Preliminary Talent Winner. Miss America Live was televised on TLC (The Learning Channel) from the Aladdin Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday January 26, 2008 & is available on video. ***************************************************** |
