CONNECT
@ TI has a Steering Committee that meets once a month. Please feel
to contact any member if you would like more information about
activities of this initiative, or would like to make comments and
suggestions about our work.
Role
of the Steering Committee
- To
lead the initiative by setting up an overall organizational
framework and structures for the mission to be realized;
- To
ensure that goals are aligned with our congregational capacity, that
is, we are not a social service organization, but can provide
support and resources;
- To
assure good coordination and communication among the working groups,
between the Steering Committee and the Working Groups;
- To
ensure good communication with all TI members and those who have
volunteered in be involved in the Working Groups and their various
activities;
- To
provide a forum for strategic thinking about where this work should
go in the future and take account of changing economic realities;
and
- To
conduct an ongoing evaluation and assessment of this work to ensure
that we are successful and having the desired impact on the TI
community, including TI members, families of Beacon Academy, and
Temple Israel staff.
