Philippians 4:13 My Family: Jacob, Rebecca, & Daniel A group photo of my energetic Work Force Foundation I & II students. Some of the quilts I've made. In the spring of 2004 I was introduced formally to quilting. My first quilt project was a 'mystery' quilt. Claire a master quilter in her 80's guided I and 7 friends through the project. Each session Clair would introduce us to a new skill and we had made a twin sized quilt. It was so interesting how 8 of us used the same pattern but because of our personal fabric selection our quilts looked so different & beautiful. We enjoyed the quilting experience and the commitment to gather every other week on Tuesday's for friendship & quilting continues. (Claire is still our teacher) A fun side note about my girlfriends I gather to quilt with, all of our kids g rew up hanging out with each other. Quilt night us mom's do a bit of networking to see what exactly our kids are up to. Since 2004 I have created over 40 quilt projects. Most are given as gifts- Christmas, Anniversary, Birthday, Graduation, Wedding and silent auction. My favo rite parts of quilting are gathering/selecting material, cutting it out and sewing the binding on at the end. Being a Masters of Ed student for two years definitely slowed down my quilt production. For a graduation gift I treated myself to a new machine, Bernina QE440. A sampling of my quilt production. ![]() ![]()

Polly,
Please don't be mad at me. I edited your WIKI slightly only to free up a little bit of space because we were hitting the upload limit. I removed your wrestling 788 quilt, re-sized it and put it back albeit a small version.
Polly, those quilts are great!
Your quilts are gorgeous!
Polly,
Your delete has been fixed!
