Instructional Technology Research ITR Rubric: Please click here to view. Quick Description: Pair with a classmate. No more than three members per group. Presentation is to be done via PowerPoint, or as an online Presentation via Google Docs the last two class dates. Deliver me your file via email or as a shared google doc. The format of the presentation is up to you, but the last slide should contain an APA formatted bibliography. Please put your sample driving question below your name(s) for your group. Here is a sample driving question: "How can the features offered in GoogleApps aid in enhancing the methods of communication between the classroom teacher and the parents and stakeholders of the school community? " While this is a research project, I'm not expecting a research paper, but I am expecting some supporting research from a journal, website, periodical, or academic paper to be noted in your bibliography. Any captured/borrowed images from a website must be properly cited to conform with copyrights. A demonstration of the technology would be appreciated but is not required. I'd like everyone to write up their driving question below to inform the group on what you are planning to present, in order to prevent an overlap of topics (I don't want two groups to cover moodle, for example). Please detail your ITR project below. Add your name and your partner's name. Example: Joe Handy & Jane Smith Driving question: How can the features offered in GoogleApps aid in enhancing the methods of communication between the classroom teacher and the parents and stakeholders of the school community? =================================================== Courteney Ivory and Kate Berger

Andrew, I see you would like for us to work with a partner. I have been doing a lot of research in the last week on my topic as I am still home on medical leave. I have started crafting a paper and power point on the topic as my research progresses. Would it be a bad thing for me to do this alone as I have put a lot of time into creating a paper and powerpoint?
Would anyone be willing to pair with Courteney?
I will work with Courteney!
Andrew, Henry and I have Moodle pages. Tomorrow we are attending a short training on Moodle Forums. Could we use Moodle as the focus of our project?
That is what I was thinking to Karen?
Sounds good. I think we all could use a little more professional opinion and research on Moodle. I look forward to it.
I think Todd and I are going to be working together.
Anne,
I don't have a partner and I am interested in learning more about podcasting. Let me know if you still need a partner.
Opps.. I didn't see Rebecca's comment..
Thanks Rebecca! Kati emailed me yesterday and we'll probably work together on this one. We can work together on delievering this content to the same student audience. I hope that what you can gain from us will help you in your research of podcasting in the classroom!
