I've been asked about the upcoming Instructional Technology Research project which will be presented the last two class dates, so here is a page which has information and answers. ITR page / Sign up Announcements This wiki site, provided free of charge from google, has a 100 megabyte capacity for photos, files, and attachments. While that's more than enough for a small group, we're reaching capacity with some very large photos. I wish the capacity were unlimited, like gmail, but sadly it is not so. Those wonderful digital cameras some of you are using produce astounding 10+ megapixel photos. This size is really unnecessary when it comes to viewing pictures on a webpage. I would appreciate if it you reduce your photo's size before you upload it to this wiki. Those of you with Windows XP/Vista/7 can use the built-in program called "Paint" and those of your with a Macintosh can use the built-in program called "Preview" to reduce the size to something around 200-300 kilobytes instead of 2000-3000 kilobytes. |
