Auditions will take place during the week of January 23rd. The schedule will be determined at random on January 17th. Chair placement will be determined and confirmed in this audition. All students must participate in the audition to receive points. If the band director(s) determine that the student has not properly prepared for the audition, the student may be asked to re-audition. 

This audition will be video recorded and will not be public. The procedure for performing a video recorded audition will be thoroughly explained on January 17th. 

Students taking private lessons on their band instrument will receive two points towards their total score. If the private lessons are done with a music teacher outside of Conant, the name of the teacher must be given during auditions.
