When?

As seen on the Calendar, the exam will take place on March 24 during class time. 

This is between the usual times for a midterm and a final exam.  It happens at this point in the term because after that point, we don't have time for more readings and lectures on general course content.  Thereafter, you will be using class time and beyond to refine your final website and prepare the presentation.

Format

• Matching and/or short answer on course concepts covered in lectures and readings, especially Surma
  
• Rhetorical criticism of sample website(s) provided on the exam, using course concepts
• Using a sample to identify features of communication described in texts, lectures and labs.
  
• Editing and reformatting a piece of text provided
  

Study Guide

• A study guide will be provided approximately 1 week before the exam.
