Q&A: Q: Does "Magic" Chris work on laptops? A: Yes. Q: Does he work on Macs? A: Sure, he can handle the basics. For anything major, or if it's still under warranty, please call the Apple store. Q: Why is his service radius so limited? A: He's very, very busy and doesn't have time to drive all over the place. Plus, his antique Mustang with a Cobra engine only gets 10 mpg. Ouch! Q: Does he ever make exceptions to his service area? A: Sorry, not unless a. He clones himself, and b. Gas drops to less than $2/gallon (see above). Q: What "Magic" Chris's background? A: Computers are his passion! He took his first computer class (for the Radio Shack TRS-80) in 1982, at the age of 14. Since then, he's enjoyed taking apart and fixing a wide variety of computers. He also has six years professional experience as Technology Specialist for a local elementary school (that's still his day job), where he keeps nearly 300 computers, 500 students, and 65 staff happy. Q: Can I trust him with my precious computer? A: You're welcome to talk with his church pastor as a character reference! Chris promises to treat your computer as if it were his Mom's (he works on hers, too!). If he's not able to fix it to your satisfaction, you don't owe him anything. His goal is for you to be pleased! Q: What's with the "Magic" Chris? A: A 4th grade teacher at his current school gave him that nickname several years ago because he's always willing and able to help solve her classroom technology issues! (It's not really magic, but it does seem like it sometimes!). Let Chris work some "Magic" for you today! Please email (chrislcarey@gmail.com) or call (407) 792-0608 if you have any other questions.
