To be elected to the Photo Board of The Crimson, you are required to fulfill the following requirements: - Attend all meetings (10)
- One hour every Saturday afternoon, choose one of three (identical) sessions. A make-up session may be available during the week.
- Topics include:
- Intro Days: camera, dayslotting, Merlin, Photoshop (2)
- Beat Days: Sports, News, Arts, FM (2)
- Etiquette and photojournalism (1)
- Advanced Days: camera, flash, lenses, Photoshop, InDesign (2)
- Photo essay presentations & critique (1)
- History of The Crimson and Libel Seminars (2)
- Complete five (5) dayslots and four (4) features (one for each beat)
- Complete 1 photo essay
- Complete 2 photoshop assignments
- Complete Mid-Comp Interview and Final Interview
- Eat a meal with at least one of your mentors
