Transdisciplinarity: Conceptual and theoretical developments, transdisciplinary research methodology, transdisciplinary research projects, challenges and barriers to transdisciplinarity, relationship between discipline, multidiscipline, interdiscipline, transdiscipline and the solution of complex problems of the real world, transdisciplinary curriculum development, the language of transdisciplinarity.

Standards and formats for submitting your work: The abstracts: should contain between 300 and 600 words, in Letter format (8.5''x 11''), a space and a half, Arial font (12 points), Microsoft Word or PDF. Include title, author, e-mails, institutions and abstract. It is suggested to include the summary in Spanish and English. The final papers: maximum 12 pages, in Letter ormat (8.5''x 11''), a space and a half, Arial font (12 points), Microsoft Word or PDF. Include title, author, e-mails, institutions, abstract, introduction, development of the main ideas, conclusions and references. The event's official languages are Spanish and English. All selected works will be published in the memories of the event, on a CD-ROM with its ISBN. Forms of presentation: Lectures, Presentations, Poster, Round tables, Software, Multimedia. Important dates: Register to participate in the seminar: From November 1, 2008 to January 10, 2009. You must send by e-mail your personal data: name, e-mail, institution, country, tentative title of your work, category of participant (student, delegate or observer). Deadline for abstracts: Until January 10, 2009. Deadline for final papers: Until February 5, 2009. The works received after this date are not guaranteed to be published in the proceedings of the seminar.
