    District Governor's Visit

posted 16 Sep 2010 16:37 by Como Jannali Rotary Club

    Diane,

Thank you very much for welcoming me to your club last night. It was good to have a chat beforehand and I now know a lot more about your club than I did before.

I was most impressed with your club’s commitment to serving your local community and wish you well for your year in office. You obviously have a relatively small but enthusiastic band of members and I commend your objective to expand your membership during your year. It was good to see three prospective new members at the meeting last night and hope you succeed in convincing them to become members. Remember my offer to fund one Weekend Daytime pass at the Conference for a prospective new member.

I thank your Club  for supporting  Polio Plus and Australian Rotary Health and hope that, after our discussion,  your club can afford to support the Rotary Foundation Annual Programmes Fund  which supports so many good things. These are all very worthwhile causes and a key component of our District Goals this year.

Finally, it is good to hear about the number of your members going to the Conference. I hope I convinced others to join in on the fun.

Remember that both Terry and I are available to help you in future if required.

    Best wishes

    Yours in Rotary Service
