PHA Walking Tour ‘Disappearing Melbourne', is a walk around the top end of Melbourne's CBD.  Be entertained and enlightened as members of the Professional Historians Association (Vic) divulge secrets from Melbourne's past – suffrage, temperance and the 'demon drink',  the multicultural community of Little Bourke Street and the Queen Vic Hospital. Many of these secrets have been revealed through Oral History.

Meet under the La Trobe statue in front of the State Library of Victoria at 1pm sharp, return to the Library Conference Centre by 2:30pm, tour limited to 25 people maximum

Tour Two The Australian Lesbian & Gay Archive - Melbourne Walking Tour
The Australian Lesbian and Gay Archives will be leading a tour to reveal, and to revel in, the secret histories of queer Melbourne. From cross-dressing saints to nineteenth century same-sex marriages; from coffee shops to Cathedrals and Myer’s. This is a very much queerer city than you might think. A taste of the history that they don’t teach us at school!
Tour Leader: Graham Willett, ALGA.
