So shocked and very saddened by the terrible earthquake just before 1 pm yesterday (NZ time). So not fair when many are still trying to recover from the massive 7.1 quake there in September. Yesterday's quake was 6.3 but caused more devastation and fatalities, injuries and still many people trapped under collapsed buildings. In September most people were still in bed in the early hours but this time so many were at work, shopping etc in the central city. Tearing up when reading about the mother killed with her baby in her arms after being hit by falling debris as she ran out of a store and about the 9 mth old boy killed when a TV fell on him. So many strong aftershocks too. :-( Praying for all those affected and for those still trapped.

This is an adorable piece of vintage needlework. White linen with a boy and girl in Bavarian Dress on each end. Trimmed with hand crocheted lace edging. Scarf is in very good condition. Embroidered figures one one end are pastel hued while the other end they are brighter tones. This would be a great piece for any room or a great piece to repurpose into other sewing or crafts 12" wide 40" long No rips or tears, no stains.
