Early Alert System

You have probably had students who were struggling because of academic difficulties, family or personal problems, or health or financial problems. Although you care about your students, you do not always have the time or ability to offer them the help they may need.

 

As faculty, you are in a unique position to spot students who are having problems. The Early Alert System provides you a quick and simple way to alert others on campus that may be able to help this student.
 
 

Open Internet Explorer.

 

Select Employees (Faculty and Staff) on the navigation pane of the SMCC home page.

 

Locate the Early Alert System.

Electronic Early Alert Filing Form (EEAS)
 
 

Use your domain name and password.

 

This is the name and password you use to log onto your office computer.

 

 
This will take you to the search page.  

Enter the Student’s last name and click on the Search button.

 
Select the correct student from the list.
