RIP COMEDY LAKE 12.2.09 - 14.5.09

Due to the abrupt departure of the promoters, Archways premier underwater comedy night is no more.

Resident MC Alistair Greaves was last seen on the way to Heathrow airport sipping a Mai-Tai, carrying a collection of Martin Denny albums and a one way ticket to Hawaii. We can only hope and dream that one day Alistair might return to London and organise another underwater themed comedy night only this time also with a Polynesian theme inspired by his South Sea adventures. And flapjacks.

Man of many faces Keith Pamphlet has retired to Yarm in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees to continue his research into coffee production. Rumours that he may be appearing at Tom Webbs "Comedy at the Cat" are unfounded.

The resident shark was last sighted in Finsbury Park reservoir.
