Whether you are a returning gardener or are interested in becoming a new gardener. We welcome you. The Columbus Community Garden is just one of the many places in our community that is special. It does take a community to grow a garden and thank you to all those that pitched in last year. We hope that our garden members are even more involved this year. Are you interested in having a garden but don’t have the space? or digging up the sod is way too much work? The Columbus Community Garden has the answer to those wishing to grow their own vegetables, fruit or flowers! The Community Garden (located on the corner of Tower Drive and Western Avenue/Hwy K) is accepting applications to rent one or more 12’x20’ or 14.5’x16.5’ plots. Water is available on site and is included in the registration fees. There is a $10 fee for the use of each plot, plus a $20 refundable deposit when your plot is cleared and your items are removed at the end of the season. Please visit us at the Columbus Community Gardens on Monday, May 14th 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm to tour the gardens, ask questions and sign up for a plot.
