City Of Chicago Model  -  Model City Exhibit at the

Chicago Architecture Foundation

 
 
The model serves as a center piece for the Chicago Architecture Foundation's exhibit "Chicago Model City". The public's enthusiasm for the model has made it a great success. The exhibit has been extended through November of 2010 and the CAF plans to put an expanded, updated model on display permanently. The digital model was prepared to enable the CAF to utilize it's visuals and data for exhibitions and presentations.
 
The Chicago Architecture Foundation, our client, says:
 
"The Chicago Model City exhibition at the Chicago Architecture Foundation has attracted more than 70,000 visitors from June, when it opened to the end of December in 2009. We know this from our statistcis but we also can see the looks on the faces of the people who gaze and linger.  It is such a draw. Children, adults, students, out-of-towners, practicing architects, everyone loves to look at the model, point out the things they recognize and walk around it to get a different perspective. We never get tired of looking at it ourselves."
