We are once again planning an afternoon of free activities for children elementary age and younger. In addition to providing fun and education experiences for children, this event is intended to educate parents and care providers about the various children’s resources available in Boulder.

This year Children’s Day is scheduled for Friday April 29^th (April 30th rain date) on the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder. This coincides with a day the Boulder Valley schools are closed. Last year we had approximately 1,200 children. In response to this turn out we have increased our capacity of 10’x10’ participant spaces in anticipation of an even larger turn out in 2011.

The popularity of this event combine with a limited amount of space means we will not be able to accommodate every organization that applies. With this in mind we encourage you to include as much detail about what your organization plans to contribute on the application so we can fully understand your idea. Please read over the selection criteria to get a better idea of what we look for when determining the final line-up of participants.

The application deadline is Tuesday, March 22, 2011.

We will confirm your application was received within a few days of submission. If we are unable to accommodate you this year we will return your entrance fee.
