Proposal for changes to the playground areas
 Summary of Proposed Changes to Play Areas
All the concrete climbing structures (except for the Turtles) will be removed. These structures do not have the required fall protection (wood chips) placed around them. The Turtles will be relocated, based on member participation in an "Adopt a Turtle" program. Groups of Members who would like a Turtle placed in their backyard common area will have the opportunity to collect signatures from the neighbors who support their request. The eight groups with the most signatures will each have a Turtle placed in their area. Most of the concrete benches will be removed, because many are chipped with exposed wire. Others are in areas where Members have indicated that they do not prefer benches located behind their townhouses. The larger playground areas will be slightly improved, including the relocation of one web climber, and the purchase of two sets of replacement swings (which will comply with current codes). The bays of the old swing sets were intended to hold two swings each; however, because they are narrower than allowed by current codes the Cooperative removed one swing from each bay.
