 BOAT MOVE RE-SCHEDULED!

SUNDAY 27 MAY   10.00AM

It looks like the Town will finish work on the new compound this week. We will then be able to move the shed and the racks in the week of the 20th so we can be ready to rig & rack our boats. (We’ll probably do the move of the racks and shed it evenings, and a few good volunteers would be useful for that work as well.)

PLACE: Meet at 5538 Concession 9 - just east of Stayner

DIRECTIONS: Hwy 26 east from Stayner; south on Centre Line Rd, then East on Sunnidale Conc Rd 9.

If you’d like to carpool we can meet at the Collingwood compound.

Please reply by email if you plan to help; or if you’d like to carpool.

Head of the Trent Regatta

posted Aug 2, 2011 10:46 AM by Collingwood Rowing Club

We are looking into attending a regatta on October 1st on the Trent Severn - called Head of the Trent.

We are currently waiting registration information on the regatta but you can check out the 2010 website at www.headofthetrent.ca.  We would be competing in the Recreational category in either a 4 or 8.

I would like to get crews set and start practising in August while Erin is still with us to aid in coaching as she has rowed the regatta before.  I think we will dedicate one night to regatta training - possibly Thursday PM.

If you are interested in participating in the regatta, please sign up on the sheet in the clubhouse.
