We brought home a National Championship and 14 medals from the 2010 NIRA National Championship!

Collierville Speed Team is a competitive speed skating team based out of Collierville, TN and serves the greater Memphis area. Our members have the opportunity to compete in local, state, regional, and national events. Maybe you’re not sure you want to compete yet…that’s okay! Maybe you just want to be involved in something disciplined to help you lose weight or to get in shape. Every one of all ages is welcome here! Our team is comprised of beginner, intermediate and advanced speed skaters. We have a structured, disciplined training and competitive schedule planned each year designed to accommodate all levels of speed skating ability… from beginner to advanced! If you know how to skate, we will teach you the speed!

Collierville Speed Team holds practice both indoors and outdoors. Indoor practices are held at Funquest Skating Center (440 US Highway 72 W). Outdoor practices will be held at Shelby Farms (500 North Pine Lake Drive). The team competes in the N.I.R.A (National Inline Racing Association) National Championship and USA Roller Sports' southern regional tournament each year as well as other events located outside our immediate area. Skaters may skate as few or as many competitive events as they desire… we do not force our skaters to compete, although we encourage it! One day you might just be National Champion, take the overall win in the Athens to Atlanta 87 mile outdoor marathon, or become an Olympic medalist!

Collierville Speed Team recognizes and respects the USOC Code of Ethics. We are a drug-free, family friendly team. Coaches in our sport are required to pass a criminal background check before being given coaching credentials.
