Google Maps Course (Best map). Open Street Map (OSM) Shows all the bush tracks in the Collie area. Route for Google earth. (Exclude section before Central Bridge.) Download a tourist map of Collie. Surf skis and kayaks all ok. Helmets and buoyancy vests to be worn for the duration of the event. To same standards as the Avon Descent.ie suitable clothing for cold wet whether conditions. The East End Weir (may be paddle through – advised at briefing) and Easycrete Weir (Known locally as Robbos Rock) are compulsory portage points.
