I've been an educator for 12 years in secondary school science and I'm a proponent of using educational technology and authentic, problem solving, open ended learning to engage students. In my current role, I work with all science and technology teachers in our school board on various projects and initiatives. I'm interested in exploring the intersection of technology and education in our rapidly changing world. In particular what is the role of the teacher and the education system in the process of learning.
