USED BOOKS GET PERMANENT HOME
Used book sales will now be held the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Colfax Library parking
area (weather permitting).
Friends of the Library members Sue Carmichael (left), Heidi Johnson, (center), and Sharon Gieras, celebrate with a fun ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new used book storage structure. Volunteers spent hours hauling heavy boxes from a temporary storage facility, then shelving hundreds of books in what will now be a permanent home in the corner of the Colfax Library parking lot. Many thanks to the volunteers shown, and to Ron Carmichael, Joe Cunningham, Henry Gieras, Grace Hardy, Anne Marie Henrioulle, Jim and Pauline Nevins, Kristi Parnham, and Peggy Tobias.
