I love to initiate absolute beginners into the crafts of knitting and crocheting. I get my students started on easy projects and I adapt, as much as possible, my teaching to each student's skill level and interests. This means that, whether a class consists of four or twenty participants, students work on different projects, in different styles, and at different levels.

When I'm not teaching (or preparing for it), I'm designing and making textile accessories that are sold in boutiques in Montreal, Canada. I also participate in craft shows. I love to make simple knitwear that makes the wearer feel special and elegant.

My textile jewelry and accessories are suitable for women of any age. My eighty-five-year-old mother wears my knitted necklaces with as much gusto as my nineteen-year-old daughter.

These pieces are especially appealing to new mothers - there is no danger when the baby grabs a textile necklace and a Möbius-style shoulder shrug or a poncho can be used to hide the baby from sight when breastfeeding in public.

Textile necklaces also afford those with allergies to metals a way to wear bold jewelry.
