Another busy weekend for the youngsters of Colchester Harriers, as they tackled cross country and indoor track events. At the South of England indoor championships, Jade Morgan just missed a medal, when she finished 4th in the Senior Women’s Triple Jump with a jump of 12 metres and Connor Price and Kiesha Hoolahan-Yeates performed well in the 800m and 60m respectively. While at the Essex Schools cross country championships there was a 3rd place finish for Sam Redgrave in the Senior Girls race and in the Junior Girls race, K J Watts placed an excellent 6th. The Inter Girls race saw Molly Huggins finish a fine 17th, Charlotte Head, fresh from her Indoor Pentathlon exploits the previous week come home in 23rd place and Joy Huggins finished well in 37th. While in the Inter Boys race Rob Clarke finished well in 10th place. |
