The diagram on the left is intended to be a visual representation of how this site functions.  There are students, who learn from the site, and Contributors who share their knowledge. 

The site itself is represented the large green sphere in the center, this is the collaboration center.  The color was chosen because green is thought to represent protection, this implies that this site is a safe harbor for ideas.  Each contributor or student is also represented by a green sphere for similar reasons.

The blue cones originating at the collaboration center and ending at the students are intended to represent an individual gaining knowledge.  The color was chosen because blue is thought to represent understanding.

The yellow cones originating at the contributors and terminating in the collaboration center are intended to represent the ideas of the contributors.  The color was chosen because yellow is thought to represent intellect and joy, in this case the joy of sharing.
