An Invitation become a Pioneer of a New Humanity

Codia believe in Community.  We believe it bonds us together.  We believe it's got lost somewhere in our societies.  We're on the look out for it - Join us.

Being a pioneer suggests being on the cusp of something new, something exciting, something dynamic, something active and proactive, and to those involved in a new cooperative alliance such as the Codia Community this should be the case.

For some reason many Christians seem very interested in church growth. Even as a faith based organisation Codia do not want to coerce people into “joining up”.  We understand that for many “The Church” has simply become irrelevant.  In our opinion this couldn't be further from the truth. It's possible however that the current face of the organised church has become irrelevant through its failure to change. That's why we've created our sister site CodiaChurch.

We want to change the stereo type of church perception to the “poor, the lost, and the back-slidden” which are outdated and probably offensive terms in society today. 

Codia are interested in Creating a Community. 

We want to create spaces and a places where you can belong before you believe (if you even get that far), where the key word is inclusive not exclusive. Spaces which you can partake in without unease or embarrassment.

We want to create a Community ("church") that will attract people of all faiths and non.   For those who may recognise their spirituality but don't want to hang a label or badge on it.   For those who may have lost faith in The Church but hold onto a light that just might be God.  

Codia want to help build a Community.

That, is potentially exciting stuff. That is dynamic. That is proactive and objective. That is pioneering.

We'd like you to join us to become pioneers.

Our vision is to create a City Centre Hub. A Truly Inclusive and Accessible Community Space as home to vibrant congregations of churches and secular users alike which will not only share building space, but also a growing list of programmatic initiatives for all members of society, that could include:

• Arts Exhibition Space

  

• Artists studio's / workshops

• Retail of arts and crafts

• Coffee House

• Performance area

• Concert venue

• Gallery

• Church services (conventional, contemporary, alternative),

  

• Worship

• Meeting / conference facility

• Drop in Centre / counselling
  

• Office spaces

• Recording Studio
