You have reached the Center for Plant Restoration (CPR) at the University of Southern Mississippi, Gulf Coast Research Laboratory. Our mission is to provide research, education, and service for practitioners of restoration in coastal habitats of the northern Gulf Coast. We have extensive experience in propagation of plants for saltmarsh, beach and dune, and submerged aquatic vegetation restoration projects. Please contact us if you need further information.

The CPR information portal provides up-to-date resources for both plant nurseries and restoration practitioners on the availability of plants and upcoming shoreline restoration projects in Mississippi and Alabama.

The CPR is also an active research center that has completed a wide variety of projects with publications in the peer-reviewed science literature. Publications, data, and project summaries are available from the Coastal Plant Research portal site.
