Crispy Asiago Tilapia
Ingredients 2 Tilapia Fillets
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumb
1/4 cup grated fresh Asiago cheese
Tony Cachere's Cajun seasoning (or whatever seasoning blend you like), to taste
EVOO spray
1 lime
Directions 1. Preheat the broiler and set the rack about four levels down. 2. Season the tilapia and then create a fish assembly line. Dish 1: beat the milk and egg together, dish 2: bread crumb and cheese, baking pan covered in foil and sprayed with EVOO. 3. Dip both sides of the fish in the egg mixture, then the bread crumb then place on the prepared pan. Spray the top of the fish with EVOO spray. 4. Broil 16 minutes (time may vary according to the size of the fish) and flip half way through and spray the top with EVOO again. 5. When cooking is complete slice the lime and squeeze one half over each fillet. Serve with steamed veggies. |
