Thanks for using my gadget. Portfolio gadget is a simple stock tracking tool, which will let you watch stocks, ETF's, currency rates, indices, futures, mutual funds and options. Basically all symbols supported by yahoo finance can be used with my gadget as well.
This gadget has two dialogs for changing settings.
Settings regarding stocks like stocksymbol , buyprice, limits and so on is found in the
"Add/edit dialog" .
Settings affecting the way the gadget works like column content, gain currency and so on is found in gadget settings which is found here:
Basic operations:
Adding a stock(symbol): Click on the
Add/edit dialog icon to show the dialog and enter either the stocksymbol, if known, or the company name in the textbox provided. When entering the stock symbol or company name a list with search results is made. The type column can be filtered so only e.g. stocks are listed. Just click on the desired symbol to select it and click on the add symbol
icon to add it to the watch list. 
Editing a stock(symbol): Click on the
Add/edit dialog icon to show the dialog. Now simply click on the item you want to change. When you are finished just click somewhere else and the data is saved.
Deleting a stock(symbol): Click on the
Add/edit dialog icon to show the dialog. Click on the delete
icon .
Sorting the stock list: Click on the
Add/edit dialog icon to show the dialog. Click on the move up/down 
icons as desired.
Changing number of columns and column content.
The gadget supports a lot of different information about stocks, but is limited to a max. of 5 columns. To change the content in a column or add more columns click on the gadget preferences and choose "Edit Settings".

Changing gain currency.
Go to "Edit settings"(See above) and choose your desired currency. Not all currencies in the world is supported as this would grow into a huge list, so I decided to support only 50 currencies for now.

A: Please see the supported exchanges list on Yahoo finance. - Q: Will your gadget work with Google desktop or syndication ?
A: No. My gadget makes use of dynamic height and userpreferences which is not supported by google when using Google desktop or syndication.
