FINANCIAL REPORT:

I will include a full annual financial report in the tournament book mailing.  When I took this job, we had a pretty large cash reserve.  By plan, the past several years we have been spending about $1,200 - $1,500 more than our income.  This was to reduce our reserve to about 1 years operating costs.  CNSGA is on solid financial grounds, but we do want to maintain this one years operating reserve.   We plan to continue giving more back to our members with drawings for golf balls or hats and contributing to flag prizes, etc.  We also want to continue with our increased scholarships funding.   The board did increase dues to $20 for 2012, but also decided to keep the voluntary donation plan we have used the last couple of years.  Donations will be intended to expand the scholarship program, with the dues increase intended to increase benefits to our membership.  Donations can be in the same check as your membership dues, but I do keep an accounting of the voluntary donations.
