Denise has a BA in philosophy and has been teaching ballet and tap to children of all ages in the Triangle for ten years. She has also worked as a social studies teacher and volunteered as a tutor for ESL and elementary math. Her classes have always been aimed at helping children recognize their own value. She teaches with the belief that everyone has unique ideas that are important to the group. Denise started this group to reach outside the dance studio in helping girls feel a strong sense of self-worth through creative expression.
