Through fun creative activities girls will learn to recognize and deal 

with their own feelings and to look for the best in others.  We will 

read, write, draw, play and dance in a safe environment.  Each week 

there will be a theme such as “making choices” upon which the 

activities will be based.  The focus will be on creating and observing 

without critical judgment.  The girls will be given suggestions for 

journaling at home throughout the week.  

Your daughter will:

 - read poetry, fiction and non-fiction stories 

 - write, draw and talk about readings 

 - listen to and share ideas 

 - learn about her own creative strengths 

 - learn to look for the best in others 

 - learn to work creatively, alone and with others 

 - learn to withhold judgment in the creative process  

 - laugh 

 - make friends
