RE:                 2009 HHS Poverty Guidelines and CSBG Eligibility Definitions

 

Attached is a copy of the poverty income guidelines which were updated January 23, 2009, by the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Secretary.  They are effective that date and are now the appropriate guidelines to determine CSBG client eligibility.

 

Since the poverty guidelines no longer include definitions for family and income we are extracting the definitions from previous federal registers.  The definitions for family and income have not changed.  We are providing the attached definitions for convenience and clarification.  If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call.  Thank you for your support.
