What is a Wiki?

A wiki is a page or collection of Web pages designed to enable anyone who accesses it to contribute or modify content. Wikis are often used to create collaborative websites and to power community websites. The collaborative encyclopedia Wikipedia is one of the best-known wikis.

"Wiki" is a Hawaiian word for "quick". "Wiki" can be expanded as "What I Know Is", but this is a backronym.

At the ST5 meeting, Chris said he'll work on a draft format for reporting baselines and indicators. We'll discuss this at the CT meeting. The discussion will revolve around a parallel document to the Plan for internal reporting and progress.

darin-preis@showmeaction.org - Sep 15, 2009 11:07 AM

At the Sept15 meeting we decided the following:
-NO Implementation meeting this fall. Instead dp will visit with each team to set expectations, talk about progress, discuss barriers, and help re-stack committee teams.
-dp will send a message to all Implementation Team members asking them to recommit to another year of participation. This will require approval from their supervisor (and force a conversation about this commitment between team member and supervisor)
-Commitment due back from all members Sept 25
-Strategy teams will decide whether additional members are necessary and recruit new members (with approval from sup's) in October
-Strategy teams will consider the timeline for Plan Development (see above for the timeline) and recommend changes or approval
-Trina Almond will work on a CMCA internal newsletter and other "marketing" opportunities for our Strategic Commitments (including but not limited to posters, business cards, magnets . . .)
-Next Coordinating Team meeting on Nov. 3 with Eileen Wallace, followed by 1.5 hour Strategy Team meetings as follows - Team 2: Nov.3, 1-2:30 - Team 5: Nov. 3, 3-4:30 - Team 3: Nov. 4, 8-9:30 - Team 1: Nov. 4, 10-11:30 - Team 4: Nov. 4, 12-1:30
- Meeting minutes to follow
