The Founders Series begins January 15, with racing every Sunday afternoon at 1:00p into March!!!! 

This series features Australian Pursuit starts. Get your boat and crew ready for some exciting winter sailing.  DON'T MISS IT!!!!

    Dallas Race Week '11 was a great success!!!!!!!!

Dallas Race Week 2011

Race #1 was raced on Sunday, June 19, starting and

finishing in front of the Hilton at The Harbor in Rockwall,

with the best winds of the week.

Race #2 was raced Monday evening and was another 

 another grand spectacle to see. 

Race #5 was raced Wednesday evening from The Harbor to Rush Creek in Heath in light wind and varied from a close reach to close hauled the entire course.   

Race #6, the final race of the week was from Rush Creek back to the Hilton at the Harbor. Winds were light but the racing intense as fleet trophies for Race week were decided. The finish at The Harbor brought an end to a great week of racing but the post race party with trophy presentations at the Hilton that followed well into the evening finally brought an end to

After Dallas Race Week, weekend Summer racing continues with the Saturday Night Race Series with 7:00p starts that run through August. This series featured cool night sailing(laid back racing with a bottle of red wine...), Australian Pursuit starts and longer races, racing well into the night, usually to the dam and back.(sailing by the light of a full moon...doesn't get any better than that) 

 

 

The Fall Sunday Afternoon Race Series is raced (Sept. 2 - Nov. 25) with Australian Pursuit starts, usually to the dam and back. Call Scott at 214-803-0025 to join us. (with your boat or as crew)

                             2012 Chandlers Racing Calendar

The 2012 Founders Series is raced on Sunday afternoons, on into March. The series begins on Jan 15 at 1:00p(currently being raced!!)

The 2012 Dam Series, raced on Sunday afternoons, starts March 18 at 1:00p, and continues until Dallas Race Week in June. 

The 2012 Spring Wed Night Series begins April 4 at 6:30p in April,  7:00p in May and runs to Dallas Race Week in June.

The 2012 Summer Wed Night Series begins after Dallas Race Week on June 27 and runs through August 29. 

The 2012 Summer Saturday Evening Series begins after Dallas Race Week on June 23 and runs through August 25.

The 2012 Fall Wed Night Series begins on September 5 and finishes on October 31.

The 2012 Fall Sunday Afternoon Series begins on September 2 and concludes on November 25.

There continues to be 4 WAYS to enjoy your Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings . 1. Come watch the boats race from the Club's deck with your favorite beverage. 2. Get some crew and race your sailboat. 3. Catch a ride on Sea Wolf and view the race on the water 4. Call Scott who will arrange for you to crew on one of the race boats.(no experience necessary,  but . . . . .  having fun is a must.)

 

 

Dallas Race Week 2012 is scheduled for June 17th through Friday, June 22th. (Six straight evenings of racing!!!)
