Schedule Update: We will be switching classes every week
with Mrs. Osborne and Mrs. McDonald for RTI in the morning (8:30 to
9:15). Students will be with me on Mon., Tues., and Friday to start but
we will be on a six day rotation. We will work on the Scholastic News
paper (non-fiction reading) for two days. Mrs. Osborne will do
grammar for two days and Mrs. McDonald will do reading circles for
two days. On Fridays we will correct DLR's, Math 4 today and cursive
worksheets.

communication with with you. Please place any notes that I need to see the
Binder and check nightly for any comments. Accordion folders will stay in the
backpacks. Completed work will go into its appropriate folder, and work
that did not get completed will go into to the HW section to be completed at
home. Lastly, Vocabulary will go home on Monday and will not be due back l
until the Friday of the test. So...check the accordion folder for graded tests,
classwork and homework.
Lang. Arts: go to www.eduplace.com and select the "Reading/Language Arts"
button. Select the "Houghton Mifflin Reading" book button, then Grade 4,
then select the current theme, and select "additional spelling" to find the
the Challenge words only. The challenge list is just the first 20 words. The
regular spelling list will come home on Monday night. It can also be found in
the back of the practice reading book ( in the 400's, it's a red stripe near the
back of the workbook).
Math: www.eduplace.com select "mathematics", California Math, grade 4,
and you'll need to put in username: "4pylusd" and password: "4student" to
access lots of fun activities and tutorials.
Attention: I'm looking for Parents/Guardians who would be willing to come in
and grade papers in class. I'd also be happy to send work home to be
