Rules

10 Days to play:
Challenges must be played and results posted by the end of the 10th calendar day.  Challenges not played by the 10th day will be removed.

Expired challenges:
If the challengee does not respond to the challenge, the challenger should report the scores after the 10th day as their opponent's forfeit.  In this case, the challenger will advance as a win.  If both players are equally unavailable, then report the scores as "cancel challenge" or do nothing and the challenge will be removed without consequence to either player.

Challenge 2 levels up:
Challengers may challenge up to two positions above their current rank.  For example, if I am ranked 3rd, I may challenge the number 1 position.  However don't be too greedy.  Sometimes challenging one level up might give you a better path to the top.

Winner's Privilege:
When you win a match, you exchange positions with the person you challenged or you remain in your position if you were the challengee.  The winner is free to make their next challenge whenever they wish.

Loser's Consequence:
When you lose a match, you are not permitted to issue a challenge until the 5th day following your loss.  This ensures other players get a chance to issue a challenge against the opponent who defeated you.

Reporting Match Results:
The winner should report the match results within 1 day of the match date.  Keeping a quick turn-around on the match results will free players names to be challenged

One Challenge per Player:
Players may only have one active challenge on the challenge board at any given time.  Please review the challenge board before issuing a challenge.

Who Brings Balls?:
The rules are handled just like Alta where the challenger is like the home team and the challengee is the visiting team.  The challenger provides the balls.  If the challenger wins, the challengee replaces the balls.  However, if the challengee wins, no balls are exchanged.
