| Accounts | How do I update my contact information? | Click the contact page link located on the home page under STEP 3. You are able to make changes directly in that list. Once your changes have been added you can click the X in the upper right corner to close the window. The next time the page is refreshed, your changes will appear. | | Accounts | When will my account be active? | After you have completed the Join Now form, the administrator will be notified. In most cases your name will be added to the site within 24 hours. You can verify when this is complete by looking for your name on THELadder located at the bottom of the home page. If you see your name, the process is complete and you're ready to challenge. | | Contact | Who do I contact about questions? | You can send an email to Charley Newberry <clnewberry@yahoo.com>. I will do my best to respond quickly. | | General | Can I get my money back? | No dummy, it's free! | | General | Why does the website look so basic? | I am using a free service called Google Sites. The site is hosted with Google and all of the pages were created with the Google tools... AND I don't really know what I'm doing :-) | | General | What is a challenge ladder? | A challenge ladder is a mechanism for ranking tennis players according to their skill levels. As members of the ladder play each other, their relative positions are adjusted to reflect the results of their play. The purpose of a tennis challenge ladder is to allow all tennis players, from the beginning novice to the serious, experienced player, to meet and play other tennis enthusiasts at their own skill levels. Whether you play only occasionally, "just for fun," or prefer to compete several times a week, you can meet others at your level. You will also have the opportunity to improve your play by challenging others who are slightly more advanced. | | Matches | Do I HAVE to play a certain amount of matches? | No, the only time you have to play a match is if you are challenged or when you issue a challenge of course. Otherwise, there is no schedule to keep. |
