- Fletch's list: books for ABLE & Clinics
- Catalog/shelves
- quick search of the catalog by subject: always qualify your search with the word veterinary. Examples: [veterinary ophthalmology] or [veterinary anatomy]. Searching only for the word [ophthalmology] will retrieve too many because it will contain both human and veterinary medical texts.
- search for or [author and keyword]. Explanation: If you know one author and a couple of keywords, you can find the book. Examples: You are referred to the Bojrab's surgery text. Search for [bojrab surgery]. You need to find Smith's internal medicine textbook. Search for [smith internal medicine] or [smith internal medicine large animal].
- browse the shelves using the LC outline
- Requesting books: If the book you want is checked out, you can request it if you are logged in to My Account in the catalog (in the upper right-hand corner). If you need it urgently, you can ask at the desk and hope that the borrower authorized the release of their info.
- Interlibrary loan: If the book you want is not in our collection, you can request it using interlibrary loan.
